Click on squares to reveal what is underneath. Numbers indicate how many mines are hiding in the adjacent eight surrounding tiles. Flag squares where you suspect mines are hidden, and click all other safe squares to clear the grid.

The game starts with a grid of covered tiles, some containing hidden mines. Uncovering a mine triggers a game-over, while uncovering safe squares reveals numbers that help you logically deduce where other mines are located.

The numbers range from 1 to 8, representing the exact count of mines located in the adjacent eight surrounding diagonal and straight squares of that specific cell.

To win Minesweeper, you must uncover all squares on the board that do not contain mines. You can flag the mines to keep track of their positions, though winning only requires uncovering all safe squares.

Beat Minesweeper by learning common layout patterns, such as the 1-2-1 pattern, where a 2 surrounded by 1s always implies mines are on the outer corners of the pattern. Logical deduction is key; do not guess unless forced.
